I just watched this movie and I think its pretty good. Frank Lucas (Denzel Washingotn) is a great character because he had all the street smarts in the world, represented only himself, and was the first african american to take over the mob. However this movie does show how above the law police are. I believe the percentage of cops that use narcotics is a lot higher than we could EVER IMAGINE, despite what area you live in. It isnt until the civilians (non crime fighters) are busted for drugs at a high rate that they start searching for narcotincs in the police/crime fighitng business. I do not know the point I am trying to make as I am very stoned, but I just wish police had equal rights as us, and not more. YEs police are drug tested, but it is scheduled and not random, thus being easy to get around.
