Amendment question

    Is neem seed a good substitute for neem cake if I can't source it locally?

    Neem seed = Neem cake = Neem meal... So sure, it's the PERFECT substitute... Lol...

    Lol I knew it came from the same source but wasn't sure about nutrimental amounts. I kinda feel stupid now

    If you have sourced viable neem seed there is a difference as it has not been pressed to retrieve the oil.

    If, on the other hand you have sourced neem seed meal or neem cake then this is what remains after the seed has been liberated of it's oil. The cake and meal are one and the same.

    Do not feel like your question was a "stupid" question lamont2468. Sam McGee is pointedly accurate that there is a considerable difference between using neem seed as a soil ammendment/nutrient versus using neem cake.

    After that explanation no I don't think it was. Neem seed meal is what I can source locally so that's what I'll be going with
