So I started growing a couple years ago and was doing good for the most part but I had to stop due to living situations. I just recently started again, my plant is now roughly 3-4 weeks old but is already having issues. Some of the leaves are yellowing/burning, I’m thinking it’s a ph issue since in truth I haven’t been checking. I’m still rusty and basically re learning everything again so any help would be greatly appreciated
Because I was a amateur at best before and like I mentioned im rusty and pretty much re learning everything so I could be wrong
Soil appears to be saturated, but if it's not that, outer burnt leaves typically are a sign of nutrient burn. What are you feeding and when?
You will need to start feeding about a month after being in that mixture. At least we know it's not nute burn LOL. I STILL think that soil is too damp, but my eyes aren't what they used to be......
I'm talking nutrients only, not your watering schedule. Most of the good soils like Fox Farm and Ocean Forest carry plenty of nutrients for about 4 to 6 weeks, then I'd recommend feeding weekly from that point on. Starting nutes at flower kind of defeats the purpose. Hang in there.......you'll get it!! Rock on......
This is the brand that I use and have been very happy with it. Once flowering begins, you will switch to FloraNova Bloom. Of course, there are a billion of 'em out there and I'm sure many have their favorites. Mix this one accordingly once a week with water and hopefully you'll see some cool changes. Good luck!!
Damn alright, when I was growing before I only had issues in flower but I figured that out. I never had issues in veg, I’ll pick up some nutes n see how it goes
I’m going with overwatered. You shouldn’t have algae in your pots. Let them dry out until the pot is very light before watering next time. I don’t think you’ll need nutrients for a 4-5 weeks
Algae? I haven’t noticed any and I also only water roughly once a week but it is possible I suppose. There is no air circulation, I have her in a closet pretty much with no in/outtake fans. I haven’t grown in years I just started again on a whim and not to mention wasn’t exactly experienced to begin with. I plan on getting a tent soon along with all the necessary equipment. Thanks
You absolutely, positively, MUST have good air circulation or you aren't going to harvest anything worthwhile. Cannabis is a wind pollinated plant....more wind = more bud.
