HI All AM I WRONG? Head shop Guys Think I garda SCUM! AKA POLICE IN IRELAND I dont often rant and rave, mostly because I am to wiped or to old & mellow! but I cant help telling you a story. I wrote a post (When U Had NOTHING & Unexpectedly Found a Bit) & for me it was very detailed post, reason, wiped, old etc... So, again I sit here stoned, having a few beers and listening to fucking TOP DRAWER music, Exempli Gratia. Pearl Jam, Bob Marley & The Wailers (Revolutionary & My Inspiration), Stevie Ray Vaughn & Double Trouble (The Man in my Avitar), Lyle Lovett (Top Draw Song Writer) Peter Tosh, Snow Patrol ( well, Chasing Cars, great track) Rush, Counting Crows, Steely Dan (1 of the Best/Cryptic song writers/arrangers ever) & playing my Fender Strat, Cort acustic & Gibson Les Paul ( For those guitar players drooling, I know, I am a spoiled fucker, but trust me, If it any consolation I love & cherish them!) So anyway my problem? I am a VERY open person, will talk to ANYONE, ANYTIME. I belive in being open & making friends. Why you ask? Because I hate lies, back biters, people wanting to keep what they have to themselves etc... ( you know the people I'm talking about?) I AM WHAT I AM. YOU GET WHAT YOU SEE, NO SHIT. So anyway, I found a Head Shop in my town. The owners are the heads responsible for bringing weed to Ireland (aparently) So me, seeing their shop for the first time, selling seeds, lights etc.. I couldnt belive it!! So over a few months I "got to know" the 2 guys that own the shop but I KNOW they think I am garda scum. I even gave 1 of them a Q from my stash even though I was short, because he said he was stuck. But when I was stuck & asked them to get me sorted?? Yeah Right! I know these guys have to be VERY careful, but hey guys, Gut Feeling tells you about someone, so I reckon these guys dont understand the old style weed smokers. the "Teachers" to the children of today Going to get a few more packs of seeds tomorrow & wont go in again. Well you sound like the type of guy i would like to smoke some weed with, everyone in town just gets on my nerves other than one guy, either they are bottom feeding and taking all your food or saying they dont care there weed is laced, as long as it gets them high. And no, dont quit going there, they have a reason to not belive, its not the person you are its for the sake of there Jobs and lives on stake, if THEY DID GIVE YOU SOME WEED and some how that got out, they could be shut down.
Let me get this right they sell seeds as Souvenirs right, so if they share weed with you and get caught they lose ther biz right. Can't blame them for being careful, sides, I wish I could walk in to a local headshop no matter if the owners are stingy, I'd keep using them.
1 - What exactly did they do to indicate that they think you are a cop? I didn't see anything in your post that made me think they are suspicious of you. 2 - When you give people weed you can't expect them to repay you, unless some kind of contract was made to that effect. Personally it seems like you're overreacting but you're the only one that really knows the whole situation.
Maybe you shouldnt have walked in there in a cop costume YEah they should be careful but you did give them weed!
Maybe it's an age thing, the young tend to not trust the old. Oh and don't forget, they may feel superior, smarter and immortal if they are under 30. Man it was great being young.
Damn, I couldn't understand that till I read the other posts in this thread... your accent is thick even on the internet. But yeah, you can't really expect someone to give you bud for free... I've long since givin' up hope on getting any kind of charity back in return from anybody I've smoked with. If it happens, it's a pleasant surprise; but if you're not expecting it, you won't be let down by the lack of giving in this world. I also didn't see why they think you're Five-0... they'd have to be mad to think a cop would go in and give them bud, just to bust them if they returned the favor. But maybe there's more to it. If they got grow supplies and you're a grower, then I'd say you kind of have to go back... beats waiting/paying for shipping and online. I wouldn't not go back just cause they didn't hook you up back... you'll run out of friends that way, unfortunately.
