I was wondering if this is how i should be doing LST all i know is i need to expose the branch to light and to not snap the branch,i was also wondering if these hooks were ok to use or does metal fuck it up? (My plant is sick but its recovering i solved the issues)
Those hooks should do fine. I use long twist ties and wire coat hangers to LST and the metal doesn't hurt a thing. Just bend a little at a time, and you won't snap a branch.
