Am I LSTing Correctly?

  1. Hey guys. Second grow using LST. My first time was with auto flowers, but this cycle is photoperiods and intopped as well. If you guys could please take a look at my photos and let me know if you see anything that should be improved with my LST technique.

  2. Does it matter what you call it?
Cause this is not LST, in my opinion.
LST is low stress training which topping is like the exact opposite.
LST has to do with pulling the top over and increasing the apical dominance in other parts of the plant without topping.
To me it just looks like your training your plants- it can be really adventageous to do that. Depends on genetics and your plans for staging- veg- bloom and what that's gonna look like.

  3. yes if you look in the first photo, the tops are pulled over with green wire. We will see how it goes.

  4. Then yah, it's LST.
Sorry, caught the "intopped" portion of your first post and thought you were thinking you could mix the two.
They look super happy- good job.

  5. I actually did top the plants as well. Maybe I shouldn’t have. But they’ve all been tipped after the fifth node. Thank you though I appreciate the information.

  6. Most important part- they be health and growing.
Directing a plant is very good to do as long as you keep em healthy.
From most recent I've heard that as referred to is Mainlining.
