Am I just not smelling the weed?

    Am I just not smelling the weed?

    Okay so I smoke in the bathroom adjoined to my bedroom. I seal off the door of the bathroom with random clothes, open the window in the bathroom and all the windows in my room and I turn on the fan thing in the bathroom, then I smoke weed from my small bubbler. I then pray frabreeze generously throughout. And I can virtually smell nothing afterwards. It gets me plenty high to. Have I found a smell proof way, or am I just not smelling the weed?

    Parents. I live in a three story house. My parents live on the second story, my sister across the hall from me.

    yeah pretty much go outside, respect your parent's house
    plus you are less likely to get caught that way

    Make sure your bowl isn't letting off any extra smoke after you hit it, cover it with something
    And use a sploof to make it even more foolproof

    And the above poster is absolutely correct

    It's cold outside and i'd have to walk a mile or so to leave my neighborhood because everyone here knows me and would probably phone the parental units with the scandalous news that their son is using drugs.

    Yeah thats what I was going to say. Me and a friend or more sometimes are smoking like crazy and we smell nothing. If I go out to go to the bathroom or have a cigarette I come back in and its like holy shit its smells like weed like crazy in here. Are you going back in after a few minutes to check?

    Dude, do you think my parents would recognize the smell of weed? I highly doubt they have any previous experience with it.

    It seems like you're doing every thing you can, except using a sploof..that could help tremendously
    And yeah, i bet your parents would recognize it, maybe even if they've never smoked

    I don't even know if that helps. Im sure I did it right and made it right, but one time I was in the garage using the sploof and there is a staircase right by the garage leading to the house with a door that was closed. Later, I went back down the stairs to toke again and I smelled the weed I had smoked earlier.

    I definitely come back into the bathroom a good ten minutes after smoking and it only smells like frabreeze and the cold air gushing in from the window? Have I just gotten used to the smell?

    Ten minutes would be enough time. If the bathroom is small and you have the fan on, that could explain it.

    Window-mounted exhaust fan. Problem solved. Smoked in my dorm [almost] every day in college, never got caught. Also used this later at a house I lived in with some non-smoker roommates.


    Although I must note that I did this with a roommate who just frowned upon smoking, so I wasn't really up against any consequences. Another consideration is that I was aware that the side of the house the fan was mounted on was opposite the side of the house that the winds usually came from. I imagine that the fan wouldn't work as well if winds were blowing right back at it.
