Hey all just need advice i have the chance to get a worked bent neck PP. It's a worked slide and some work on the top of the can. I'm paying 1400 shipped is that decent deal. It's brand new.
Is it similar to this? http://grasscity.com/scientific-glass/sovereignty-glass/sovereignty-shorty-peyote-to-pillar-perc-2.html If not can you post a link to exactly what you meant?

Hmm. I would say the extra detail in yours would definitely make it about $250 more than the one I posted and aqua labs has fair prices so I think you're getting it for market value. That being said I have no idea, just a guess off the comparable's.
You are paying around market for a lightly worked pillar. I've seen them go for cheaper but most sellers ask around $1,400 as a starting point. You might be able to talk them down, but if you want one in the bag, just scoop it. If you just want a peyote pillar but don't care about it being worked, you can shave several hundred off the asking price. They're between $900 and $1,100 on the secondary market.
that's all fine and dandy but are you buying it to smoke out of? because that's nuts. or is it purely novelty? for a collection?
Yea it's a lot of scratch, I'm going to work on the price a bit I thought it seemed a bit high. But the piece in general even not worked is expensive as hell. So I guess I felt a little better about it being worked instead of pay a G for a plain one. I'm getting a lot of flack from my girl about the piece too lol. So I appreciate everyone's input.
My pillar is my daily driver. First major bong I've copped, even has sentimental value now lol. I absolutely love the thing. I would say you should just spend the extra couple hundred or so and get a double worked pillar. However, I've seen a pillar w/ a single worked section sell for 1.2, and a double honeycomb sell for 1.6. can't go wrong with a clear pillar for sub1k. you'll be a happy camper whatever you do
