I've been out of high school for a while, but can a school do random drug testing like that? I know if you play sports then you sign a consent form at the beginning of the season, but if your just a student, I don't think they have the right to do that. I may be totally wrong. Alot has changed in the 10 years I've been out of school.

they cant straight suspend you for failing a drug test. that doesnt mean anything. if they caught you doing it at school thats different. its not against the law to attend a school when you have smoked weed in the past 30 days..
Your right, I'm not too educated on the consequences of failing drug tests at school, since I've never been drug tested or anything of the sort. I'm aware that it isn't against the law to attend school with weed in your system, but it is against the law to smoke weed. As I stated before, I just don't want my Dad to find out about it, because I value the relationship I have with him and he is very anti-drug.
I went to T1, its pretty much a program before first grade and after kindergarten that lasts a year, making me 18.
