Problem: For a couple weeks I was noticing some yellow blotching in between veins on older growth. I didnt think much of it because there wasnt much and at the time I thought it could be from too much wind/friction on the leaves. I set the fan to low and it ocilates now so Im sure thats not it. A couple weeks later I noticed some rust spots on the lower leafs. Again I wasnt that worried about it... I had been gradually increasing my nutes and the next feeding I saw no spread of the problem...

In the past 2 weeks the plant has exploded in growth. I upped the nutes 3 days ago to what I mentioned in the form. Last night I saw that the rust spots had spread and were showing on some of the upper fan leafs.

My system is about 13 gallons recirculating through 3 buckets and a polar bear chiller. Res temps highs are in th 70 and lowest has been like 64.

Last night I added a total of 10 teaspoons epsom salts (desolved into 1 gallon RO.) I added 1/2 gallon of the salt mix to my res (it was about a gallon low anyway). Waited 30 min for the solution to mix and added the rest. This brought my EC to 1.6. My ph was at 5.5 and had been falling the past few days at about .1 per day so I added 4 ml PH up which brought the system to 5.7.

Additional info. I changed the res 3 days ago and set the ph to 5.8. Last night it was 5.5. The entire grow my ph has been on a steady rise (start at 5.6 land at 5.8-6.0) until recently it started to fall.

This morning I checked on the plants and they are starting to droop...

I'm thinking I may have added too much salt and screwed my res.

My plan is tonight to drain the res and flush for a couple hours with tap (ec 0.4) then add a fresh mix of 8 ml micro and 16 ml bloom and maybe 1/4 teaspon per gallon disolved epsom salts.

Does it sound like I am doing the right thing?
    Should I wait another day?

Any info would be great =/
