This my 1st post in forever. I hope I got all the information correctly. The 1st picture is the gelato. I did have some spider mites, sprayed them with dawn dish soap & water mix. I also been spraying with recycle sill twice. I put straw so the soil would stay moist. Since I wanted the top of the soil to dry out some, I took off the straw for now. Thanks in advance for any help. What type of medium; soil What brand and type of soil? mixed it myself Growing these outdoors? What strain? 2 Trainwreck & 1 Gelato How old are the plants? 3/30 sprouted 4/24 in the ground 1 month old in the ground on the 24th 1 TW and the only Gelato are showing signs of nut burn or whatever this issue is. What is your watering frequency and source of water? ACTea only, didn't know what the PH was. watered all around the outside of the plant 2 gallons for all 4 plants What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? no nuts for feeding. Just the compost tea, made with compost, oatmeal, black molasses and brown sugar. What is the medium/runoff pH? Unknown since they are in the ground. The holes I dug are about 2.5ft X 2.5 ft X 2.5 ft. That is just the estimate but very close to that. Any other pertinent info? Mixed 55 gallons each for all 4 holes 1 yard each of the following Soil mix is Super blend soil Red lava 3/8 for drainage Humas compost screened topsoil I added the following kelp meal 2 lbs dry organic fertilizer 3 lbs Neem Meal 2 lbs dried oyster dust 3 lbs Epsom salt 2 lbs per hole 1 wheel barrow load of horse shit with worms I added back in October. I put about a 1000 worms and 500 night crawlers to that pile and let it sit and was covered all the time. I remember adding 3-4 wheel barrow loads for each hole. Then added the dry amendments to that, watered it down till all was mixed really well. Mixed it up on a tarp and covered. There was the mold 3rd day or so. I put this into the hole in November where it's been ever since. No cover crop at all. I did this for all 4 holes. I originally wanted 8 but the work was to hard. Is it possible that there was to much dry amentments? I just don't know since I let it cook since Nov. Last small plant picture was taken on the 28th of April Thanks in advance.
I just used it once as a test and the batch I was going to use, didn't get used since it rained here.
Micro nutrients meaning it's missing zinc or sulfur? With everything I put into , I can't see how that is possible. Was looking at photos online & lots of reading ID this issue and it's talking about Iron Deficiency. I just wanted a few more opinions.
Only time I ever experienced this is when I overloaded on Cal-Mag Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
If they were burned, you would not have discoloration in lower leaves. Looks like deficiency or toxicity to me. Have a look at these charts: Nutrient Knowledge: Marijuana Plant Nutrient Deficiency & Excess Chart You were wondering how it could be deficiency with all the stuff you have put in your soil. Some nutrients in excess can hinder the availability of others.
Another great link with awesome information. I'm going to treat it today with 1 tsp of epson salt in a gallon of water onto both plants. Thanks Spain.
I was going to treat it with Cal-Mag. Just don't know yet, but I have to do something. I didn't dig them damn holes for nothing.. lol
