I got stopped at a roadblock and the officier smelt burnt pot, i had not been smoking but he took me out of my car and performed a sfst on me which i failed due to shakingness and anxiety, i also had just came straight from the gym and ha worked out legs, but he gave me a 24 hour prohibition and impounded my car for 24 hours, he let me walk home as my house was not too far but said nothing anout a dui... i live in BC canada, im just confused about what happened HELP ... i got a 215(3) and picked up my lisence from the station a day later
I don't live in Canada but over where I'm from in the states, if they were giving you a DUI you'd be arrested, not allowed to walk home.
i think you will be alright. like someone else said you probably would have been arrested if you were being charged.
