    Where do dealers get their weed?
    Unless they grow it themselves... where do they get it, and why don't I buy it from wherever they get it from for less money?

    from another dealer unless they grow it themselves. Dealers usually have a few middlemen that make the deliveries. The middlemen usually add a few bucks to the deal so they can get a little more $$$ out of the deal. + that gives less of a chance to the grower or main dealer/kingpin to get caught.

    Growers and distributors don't want your business, at least not directly. The only transaction a grower wants is the $xxx,xxx sell every 3 or 4 months when he crops out. He doesn't want kids coming to his house every day to buy eighths for $50 because the chance of getting caught increases exponentially. The distributor doesn't want your business either, he only wants to sell by the pound to trusted street dealers who then in turn sell to you or smaller street dealers.

    Most dealers don't start out with 10,000 dollars or two pounds of dank. They start off in highschool selling 1/4's to friends. Then eventually they have enough money that instead of buying ounces they can buy QP's, and start wholesaling so they don't have to deal with many people and they make several hundred dollars per deal. That goes straight up the line and eventually they decide to either wholesale it or grow it.

    So the reason you don't get it cheaper is because you're poor as far as someone who manages 10lbs a week or a greenhouse of dank is concerned. Just like if you call up a Budweiser brewery they'd be more than happy to send several 18 wheelers to your business. But if you tell them "actually I'm just looking for a keg" they'll just give you the number to one of their distributors.

    The Union explains it well. The marijuana business is ran basically just like a company. Very very much like a large business that runs underground and out of public eye. But the whole industry is effected by the economy, congress, other businesses, other companies. Very interesting stuff :D

    for real, you cant buy from your dealers dealer cuz you dont know your dealers dealer. Now, if you knew your dealers dealer, than perhaps you could deal with your dealers dealer. But you dont. there fore you deal with YOUR dealer.

    DEALER/:confused: words are funny.
