Aluminum/Tin Foil Screens

    exactly how bad is using said materials as screens, and what subsitutues can I use to replace these screens?

    its unrecommended

    unscrew the faucet cap on your bathroom sink and pull a screen out from under it :D

    off note, when i did this with a friend, she said ew you should wash. i gave her the blankest look and then we both started laughing hysterically. it gets washed every time you use the sink haha

    metal screens are like 10 for a dollar, why even bother with foil

    Dont use aluminum. It gives you Alzheimer's.

    I don't encourage smoking out of aluminum, but I believe it's fairly safe to smoke out of. After all, people cook with it with no problems, why can't you smoke out of it? Of course the internet is often incorrect and I may be spreading something totally false. ;P

    I heard tin foil was much worse for you than aluminum foil because it gives off harmful vapors when burned but aluminum foil does not, contrary to popular believe, i believe.

    Bad idea, screens are cheap... Do you really need it? I use screens when the pipe is clean, which doesn't last long, keep having to pull out the screen anyway, and those glass triangle thingers are crap too, IMO

    Patients with alzheimers were found to have more aluminum in their system than normal. On that note, it doesn't mean using foil a few times instantly gives u alzheimers disease.

    I'd recommend using it once or maybe a few times until you can a proper screen.

    I did buy a pack of metal screens. It just doesnt say what its made of or if its harmful. They are made for smoking so im assuming they are safe.
