This is what happens when you give a cannabis enthusiast a mill, and a free block of aluminum. I shouldn't be aloud around this class of machinery lol. I want to point out that this was my first time I've ever used a mill.
Nice but be careful as aluminum can leach into acidity and thc is acidic. Be careful on how hot youheat it. It would make it a little better if it were anodized. Also since aluminum can pot, be careful of using any metal tools to extract herb as aluminum is very soft and can cause injury if tiny pieces come off thepot marks and go into your lungs.
I don't have any formal machining expertise, I just dove right in. I do plan to make more, but I also worry about the aluminum. If I could afford a block of stainless I would totally use it. This block came from my local scrap yard so it was a good test.
