  1. Look around kingbrite on Alibaba they got a good selection of hlg drivers and ship just as fast.

It's going good 2nd day of 12 12 with hash plant. And I got my lights figured out for the next 6 weeks. After that I'm adding in the other light I pictured. Along with Jack'n cheese. Only problem I got is my temps very from 72 to 75 off to on.

  10. So they were thrown up in first picture haphazardly and no I have them straight with ballasts mounted on ceiling joists, bought everything to extend ballasts out the room but dont know when I'll do that. This room was switched from single ended 600 hps to quantom boards. Have 4- 2 panel lights above a 5x10. Thanks for all the help fellas and to @Tbone Shuffle for the advice!

  13. Very cool thread, lots of great info in here. I am thinking about building a set of lights myself for a 4' x 4' tent. The HLG stuff is really nice, but I can't afford those prices. Just want to make sure I get the right stuff, I have ordered stuff from China before but never used Alibaba.

  17. hmmm im not to sure. I can speculate lead time being 7-14 days from time of pay till production. as far as shipping they use dhl so usually 3 to 4 days for north America from china. but that is a guess as I went with r2t.

also guys king brite (via Alibaba, good supplier with a better range of drivers) now has there own qb288 design index into there products. they're a tad cheaper but have a minimum order qty of 4 and are solder only connections( which I would of preferred)

  18. Yeah if u look in description on the site itll tell u..but its usually 2-4 day after they recieve payment

  19. Yeah but what dont make it cheaper is shipping and everything buy in states u pay same price but usually free shipping or very little

  20. oh I hear you, this is for the people ordering in bulk or outside of the us. as for myself im in Canada and am about a 12hr drive from hlg (Michigan) but yet it costs me more in shipping for a couple boards then it does to order a bulk shipment from china, then there are import fees hlg being a legit company would disclose full retail price meaning a substantiality higher border fee, unlike most of the china sellers. and there Canadian website is pathetic they have there high priced fixtures instock but not there boards. redirecting one to amazon to pay $120 a qb132 or $130 a qb288s(always out of stock).

unless they have a better Canadian presence in the future I will most likely never order a product from them when I can get a qb 288 clone for $63 to my door vs $130, or more pending on availability, to the door per board.
