I have a plant that is almost ready to cut. I have been flushing for about ten days now and just a few more to go. People say to let it dry out for a faster dry. So should I cut the plant when it gets droopy or just dry enough to a point to where Id water again?
Either way is fine, the key is to try and have it be as dry as possible. Droopy is OK, that means she is really dry and that just makes it easier on you. Good luck!
...it really doens't matter what you do, your still going to have to dry/cure....imo, letting the plant dry out before harvest maybe saves you water, that's about it.
Thank you on your input.. just wasn't sure on how it worked. I know I'd have to dry and cure but if there's less water in the plants wont it cut down on the chance to get mold as well as dry time? Or am I wrong? Im not too experienced, just trying to see what others say and do.
...I believe I've read something saying that the turpins react to a drought near the end of harvest, but I've done the experiment and didn't notice any difference in the product from the crop before or after, of the same strain grown in the same room conditions, so....it's nothing to be focusing on really.
Depends on your local humidity as well. I had a week of low humidity and about shit my pants on how fast it dried. I do let mine dry out if I can. It takes week plus for buds to dry in my area.
