Been there. While driving backroads in Colorado I entered Paonia State Park to look for a campsite. There were too many skeeters by the lake. On my way out I noticed this gravely road and drove up it. It kept getting narrower and eventually I had to try a turn-about to get back down. I know it was close. Going down a steep gravel road it pretty wicked too. Nearly flew off the West Elk Loop, Mt. Evans, and others.
