    So doing my umpteenth extraction for oil/cheese. Updated my methods. Had about 100g worth of trim and immature buds from WW, NL and BB. This Is what it looks like. I did a 1st and second pressing. The colour on round 1 is the best I've ever had. I expect the purity to be goutstanding.

    The green will be for edibles and maybe medicine/tinc. The primo will be... private consumption/superfriends?

    Total take on the high purity was 12g. Very happy with the results. No smell. Very strong.

    Mook, since you've perfected your craft (looks primo by the way), would you mind sharing your tech? I'm always up for learning about cannabis extracts. .

    First batch looks tasty! How far along would you say the permature plant were before you used the buds? Curious because I'm thinking about growing a few plants and take them when the are premature with the intent to use for oil/ concentrates. Nice to see this yield of trim and popcorn buds

    It was fully flowered, but there was some young undergrowth that I had missed while pruning. So I didn't have to sacrifice any young plants. I don't recommend sacrificing a plant early just for an extraction.

    Final count..
    The second pressing yielded 9g of surprisingly potent brown sheesh. Very pleased. Strong... but not flavourful. Doesn't taste bad, but doesn't taste like bubble. Maybe it was the decarboxylation?
    The pure stuff came out to 8g of the cleanest, strongest glass I've ever had. We've been dropping tiny slivers of it into whiskey shots for the sickest all around body/head/pain killin/anxiety free/happy fuzzy/party time chillibuzzuti I've had in many moons and poons.

    mook2707, I read the link and your posts again and I'm confused. The tech recommends decarb. Do you smoke decarbed glass or just eat it? I usually only decarb for edibles, but would try it for smoking.

    Lol. Sorry I missed this. I always decarb for extraction. The mini buds, sugar leaves and whatever goes in for decarb and then the extraction comes next.
    As to the glass I typically Vape it, but will sprinkle it and sometimes eat/cook with it. Fire destroys THC so smoking it isn't ideal.
    Did you end up trying an extraction with this method?

    The link doesn't work anymore and I don't remember the tech. When I do extractions I usually do PsychedelicSam's Tincture recipe. For edibles I blast, add everclear then add to coconut oil. Oh, I do a decarb first for edibles.
