Thought I would make my first post dedicated to a pickup I made about an hour ago. Got some Alaskan Thunderfuck and it is a beauty! I have only seen this strain once so when my guy showed it to me I couldn't resist. Pretty sure this is a Sativa dominant hybrid but not totally sure.
Smells incredibly potent and is cured just right, can't wait to give it a smoke.

  2. I had some ATF a few weeks back. It tastes goood. Enjoy, man.

  3. fireee , i had some atf last year that was DANK, awesome strain.

  4. nice first post. + rep for that

  5. Nice score, good to see some more colorado dank up on the board hehehehe.

ATF is so fuckin dank, i had some matanuska tundra (one of its parent strains) last week, so tasty

  6. Thanks for the feedback all! I smoked some last night and wow...the taste is unlike any strain I've ever had. Slightly fruity, slightly spicy and the good old dank earthy-ness. The high was great too, very nice balance between head and body. Overall, one of the best tasting strains I've had and a great buzz too! Got to love the Colorado danks hehe:smoke:

  7. funniest fuckin strain ever

  8. My favorite strain so far. The hairs aren't dark enough for me to fully believe that's atf though:( been growing it for a few years now. atfs not a real fruity plant. Skunky, dark add leaves dark red hairs and a shot ton of crystals... mostly on the bottom of the leaves... looking from the bottom of a bud, it'll b white. Not green. Very very frosty. But still a very nice bud:). I'm in Oregon so I don't know the rep of dispensaries... but I do know they get what they can get their hands on...

  9. Also keep in mind, bud in CO doesnt grow according to a sea level standard, we have low pressure, dry air, and we are mostly a mile high. I know what you mean tho, just finished my matanuska off, nice dark green diesel/skunkish smell to it. But i do get a LOT of bud here that i am 100% sure is the strain its claimed to be (MMJ and my dispensary is owned by very experienced growers) and it doesnt look like what it does usually.

^ Both very good points. The first time I had ATF was in San Fran and it was very different. Tasted and smelled like the bud had been dipped in diesel/jet fuel. Very sticky, dark green and dark pistils.
As noted above, Colorado grow conditions have an effect on taste/color/potency. I buy directly from the grower so the genetics are certain, however the taste surprised me a little. Very skunky smell, not that solvent like diesel smell, also the mild fruity and spicy taste. After curing an additional 4 days in paper bag and mason jar the spicyness is gone, replaced by a little of that classic diesel taste. Still fruity undertones though...odd. Color is fairly dark, picture doesn't really show that or the trich coverage very well. As you said, Trichome density is greatest on the bottoms of the leaves.
Perhaps I should continue to cure the bud to develop the taste a bit more.

    Thanks for the input!

  11. Wow thanks I was worried I was gonna get flamed for that...:) first post and all. Ima gonna post pics of mine when its done.
The different conditions in co. Do make a difference and I didn't really think about that. So that was a good point.
Oh sorry bout all the misspelled words... I'm on my phone with the auto type. So I've learned to proof read :) yay!
