Alaskan/ Matanuskan ThunderFuck

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by dominoes324, Apr 1, 2010.

  1. hey guys get some opiuns on this. I recently heard of a killer strain that used to be the natural weed that has been growing in my Alaska and was wondering. Is this strain still around or is it exticnt now or is it like being hidden away from the public or did it just die out. be nice to get some clarification on this thanks. Happy 4:20 from Alaska :D

  2. I have seen threads in the Stash Jar forum with Alaskan Thunderfuck in it.
    Just search for it bro.

and I've always wanted to go to alaska. cant wait to go up there soon.

  3. i would kill for weed called thunderfuck.
okay thats not true, because i could probably convince someone my weed was called thundefuck. but thats a very luring name. any pictures anywhere?

  4. I live in Alaska as well, and I've only heard rumors of MTF. From what I've heard, there's only a select number of people who have access to it.

I'm not sure if I believe it's true or not. On one hand, the quality of weed is fantastic up here, but on the other hand it sounds kind of sketch for it to be kept in a small group of people.

  5. I know a girl from Matanuska and according to her that weed is the bomb and it is definately still around.

  6. i've heard about that down in houston, i know a few guys who've smoked it and where raving about it (this was before i smoked)

  7. i lived in ak for a couple of years and smoked what i was told was matanuska thunderfuck. i can tell you that i was never so glad to already be sitting on my own couch because there was no way i was going anywhere...

in the summer time in alaska, the days are longer. near june 21-22 (first of summer) its daylight for 22 hours. it doesn't really get dark, just kinda of sunset like for a couple of hours. this makes plants grow like crazy. vegetables get huge. i saw a 59 lb cabbage at the county fair. 59 lbs!

imagine growing some outdoor up there and getting giant buds....

  8. I smoked a bunch in the late 90s in the Boston area. Some hippie ravers were bringing it in from Canada and it was potent smoke. Killer fat dense nugs covered in crystals, and one or two bong rips and I felt like I was really trippin my balls off...fuckin blasted!

  9. Its a legitimate strain, should be able to find it at any decent dispensary. I recently came across a hybrid of some white widow x ATF, some of the best stuff I've smoked in a while.

  10. alaskan and mananuskan thunderfuck are still available in clone form(i think u can even find seeds of them too)

i know a local club pretty much always has clones of M.V.T.F available, and i find ATF buds pretty often, it was actually one of the first strains i ever purchased when i got my mmj rec.

i have been curious to grow M.V.T.F, but with other strains i know i love available, i havent purchased a clone of it yet

  11. I believe that I had read in the Cannabible that the original Alaskan Thunderfuck the original strain isn't around anymore, except that one man somewhere in the country side still has the original strain but keeps it to himself. I had read this about a year ago so take it as it is, can't say I remember exactly what it said.

  12. It doesn't grow in Alaska but it's a good strain if properly grown that still exists today.

  13. I think I've had it, cuz I live there, but I can't be sure. I got some bud that my dealer said was ATF, but it was almost schwaggy, obviously not ATF. I think I had some in like 8th or 9th grade. Also, me and my homies found a bunch of seeds in this empty house. We told the previous owners that we broke in, and they were all "lol hell yeah."

  14. It's not grown only in Alaska, I've had some on the East Coast before too.

  15. It's not natural to Alaska but it is a real strain. The real stuff is not easy to find and is limited to some growers up in Alaska for the most part.

  16. yeah we get alaskan and matanuskan thunderfuck down here in la matanuska is pretty dank alaska is sorta mid for me at least.

I've been wanting to get my hands on it. But right now I don't have a efficiant grow room set up so I don't see the point in trying to find it.

I used to grow Matanuska Tundra. I remember that it was great for outdoors, but I can't remember what the high was like.

  18. I've heard of it being in Washington and Oregon. In fact, I purchased a rare dubsack of it last year, right after my birthday. Oh shit, do not smoke that and try carnival rides....fuuuuuck.

The shit hammers you into the fucking ground like a human slingshot, then makes you sleep-talking caliber stupid. It is in my top 5, at least. I smoked 2 bowls one night, walked into a grocery store, couldn't stop laughing, then thought I was in another grocery store, that was 3 miles away. I got lost, and started staring at rows of ice cream with the freezer door open for like 10 mins.:smoke:

  19. I thought that I could recall something here. I now live in Queensland, but my formative years were spent in the glorious back country of the Northern California Trinity area in Mendocino and Lake counties. It was around 86 or 87 I was just getting ready to start my new bike to travel south for a road trip when my nieghbor came by with something he had brought home from Manatuba the day before. We each got the proto nearly red hot and I ended up delaying my departure until the next evening. Matanuska Thunderfuck was what he called it and I can say that the quality of high that smoke provided was not easily forgotten. Since then I have often sought to get the same smoke, and when I do manage to actually get the same stuff it is so easy to know if it is or not by the unuassual color of the green. MAybe a few strains share this trait, but perhaps it is this that makes MTF choice smoke for me is shared by other choice smoke as well. I don't know, I just know what I know, you know.

  20. I willing to bet I haven't smoked the real ATF, but i'm from Washington and have smoked some killer stuff that my dealer called ATF. It was definitely a head rocker, and maybe the actual strain, but not grown in alaska. I thought the point of ATF is that its grown in alaska where the sun is out longer so the buds are super dank? Idk, i don't even know how all these people here "know" there's a secret group or just one guy with the original genetics lol
