Ever since Measure 2 went up for vote and failed by a small amount, people in Alaska have openly talked about marijuana and even cops have a positive opinion on the subject(cops here will walk up to you and ask if you have over 4oz if they catch you smoking, they wont beat you to the ground). With the california news coming, both the youth and seniors here are quite interested in the prospect of Alaska re-introducing something similar to Measure 2 or what California is supposed to vote on later this year. The problem with Alaska is that people here are too lazy to put stuff on the ballot, all we care about is our PFD money. Hopefully NORML or other organizations will find interest in trying out Alaska again.
