hello ; i just purchased this fertilizer ( alaska fish fert. 5-1-1) now the question is , HOW SHOULD I USE IT ???? WHAT KIND OF DOSES SHOULD CAN I GIVE HER ?
read the instructions on the package for dosages, I cut it in half at first. and I would only use that for veg, for flower you would need something like 2-8-4 or something to that effect.
The standard doseage is 2tsp/gal for plants in general. Thriving, mature, vegging pot plants under strong light should get 1Tbs/gal. Flowering pot plants can receive the 2tsp/gal as part of their fertilizer mix (with more P & K), but just during early flowering. Using sources of P & K that contain low levels of N (e.g. 2-10-0 or similar), the Fish Emulsion should be eliminated by about halfway through flowering to avoid Nitrogen toxicity. Even in veg, you'll need to augment the FE with an equally good source of Phosphorus. A mild source of Potassium like seaweed or kelp ferts should also be added if not part of the substrate mix.
thanks for the info . it also says in the bottle feed every three weeks . can i do it every third water like other ferts ??
