if i were you, id run pick up a couple sticky fly sheets at first sign of fruit flies or thrips. thrips are annoying little bastards...they reproduce like rabbits, and they are essentially nothing more than a munching caterpillar with wings

if you get one stuck to the paper it would help you figure out what kind of bug it is

its funny though, really the only thing ive NEVER seen in one of my indoor grows is spider mites, never had em xD

now i've probably jinxed myself lol

  2. ^put on list for payday. I do see gnats in the cabinet every once in a while.

    Day 25

Watered after taking pics. Looking really pathetic, I didn't want to show today's update but it is what is. As long as its just from under watering, which I think it is, it should be healthy again tomorrow.

Changed the time the lights go out so it will miss out on 4 hours of light today. Had 4 hour dark period from 9 am-2 pm but changed it to 11 pm-3 pm. Hope this doesn't fuck with it too much.

Also 1 leaf has some brown spots/streaks on it, looked into it and found it might be pH issue or deficiency. I will give full strength nutes next time I water and check the pH when I do.

On a positive note more and more pistils showing up so its still progressing.

  4. gnats have been my only problem ever, idk if they do any damage.

  5. As far as I've read gnats don't do anything, just more of an annoyance

  6. exactly what they have been, just buzzing around my babies like they own them or something.

  7. Those fucks think they own everything, I busted gnat skulls with dishsoap and water sitting in a dish for them to fly in.

  8. Ill try that next watering because that's when i see the most because they cant stay in the soil.

  9. Yeah I'd say just let it sit there until it dries up, the dish of soapy water i mean, and they should disappear. don't pour the soap water in your plants. I've also heard dimaceous earth works wonders.

  10. Put a little vinegar in the soap water as bait

  11. lol i just use the sticky fly sheets, anything that flies seems to love em. ive even had a wasp from god knows where end up on it one morning
