Air bubbles in peices?

  1. Im looking to get a new bubbler or mini bong tomorow. my limit is $100 and im going to a local headshop. When i have been there before, i noticed that on some(most) of their bubblers/peices, there are very very small little air bubbles in the glass near the bowl part or just in random places. Now i know that none of the peices here are blown by them, but i dont have anywhere else near me. Are air bubbles bad? Do they mean its a bad quality peice?

    leme knooooo

  2. I need pictures to help you out,

  3. I'm sure that's not good.

  4. yes, air bubbles are a sign of poor quality glass. Also, if they are in the right place, they can cause cracks and breakages when heated and cooled repeatedly.

  5. Yah just order online best choice.

  6. Sounds like low quality chinese glass.

  7. thats what i was guessing. one of the bongs there even had a sticker in it that said "made in china". lol

  8. Well then don't buy.....Not all china glass is blown in china it's just low quality glass by the way.

I recommend looking for some thick quality glass, you can order online from ETSY and get some way better pieces than some LHS offer for your price range

  9. air bubbles to me are a sign of rushed production.
