Title pretty much says it. I have four plants. Which means after I harvest I will have quite a bit that needs to be stored. I've seen people use plastic bags in mason jars, food vacuum sealers, all sorts of ways to store it. To keep it for the long term (whatever that is defined as), what tends to be the best way to store it?
Air tight glass jars in a dark place kept at room temp. Open the jars every 3-4 days for a few minutes and should stay good like this for a few years
Glass jars in a cool dark place. My first harvest lasted 10 months like this, and the taste, aroma and potency just kept improving with age.
Glass mason jars, no need for baggies. The smoke I have now is about a year old and is still amazing.
..nothing like opening a jar of dank that's been curing for months. They sell cases (12) empty quart-sized mason jars for canning, usually around $10 at walmart or a supermarket. Get the wide-mouth jars.
