    Wassoulou from Mali

Mbongo! In Lingala which is one of the main languages of Zaire, Mbongo = Money.
On Guitars, we have Dally Kimoko (Lead Guitar), Mayaula Mayoni (RIP) on accompaniment guitar (it's a lower audible version of rhythm guitar while mi-solo is describe as higher audible perhaps a higher rhythm guitar), Lokassa Ya M'Bongo (rhythm guitar), Ngouma Lokito (bass). Sutry vocals by Abby Surya backed up by Pompon Kuleta. Explosive sebene!

  8. Congolese Soukous! Brilliant Medley of past pana-african hits of the 1980's and 1990's. Damn those guitars!

  10. Early 90's Congolese Rhumba Soukous! This is the band called Zaiko Familia Dei which came derived the original fraction Zaiko Langa Langa, the cause of the breakup was cause of a dispute which led to this fraction. Stunning guitars from Beniko Popolipo (purple shirt) and Petit Poisson (black shirt), also not forgetting Jimmy Yaba on mi-solo guitar (short red guitar) and Yvon Kabamba on bass.
