I have been told the Afghani strains are great medical strain, and I took advantage of the freebies from Herbie last month, so I threw my two Afghani regular seeds into germinate last night, hoping for one female as my main intention for this plant is extracts for my moms back pain, she has had two major surgeries and refuses to take any painkillers stronger than ibuprofen and although I'm not in a medical state I've managed to convince her its worth it if i provide it and she doesn't have to deal with an illegal market. They popped in 16 hours, very pleased, hoping for one decent female. I figure with two regular seeds I probably have a 35-40% chance of getting a female of a good phenol. And if not well ill have some good stuff for momma There going into a 33% 33% 33% natures care organic coco peat mix so I wont have to water much. Will be using roots organic Buddha grow and Buddha bloom. Wish me luck, also including a pic of my flowering Tw x og just for bud porn. It has 4-5 weeks left
Both seeds are now tiny seedlings above soil Will edit in pics later on. Must have been incredibly fresh seeds. Gotta love Herbie's seeds. Only ordered 4 seeds and so far 100% success rate, haven't germed the nl x big bud yet but both Afghanis and my special queen popped a tap root in under 24 hours. Paper towel method incubated at 85 degrees F. Here are the Baby Afghanis ....
sorry for no updates, heres some pics of my box and my other strain and some visitors, no clue how the tree frog or praying mantis got in my box but they are thriving and keeping the gnats away...and ive grown fond of watching them eat those little fuckers, i think a tree frog and a praying mantis should work well for bug control. First two budshots are afghani, second two are special queen Both afghani's were female and the odd one out (obviously more sativa) is my special queen #1 i never made a journal for
