Aero Cloner ISSUES one week roots, yellowing leaves with curling and crispy edges

  1. I recently bought a 25 site Aero Cloner to see if I cant pick up my clone success ratio. I put 25 clones in exactly a week ago. Things have really been going smoothly and all has been well until the last 2 days.

My clones have started to turn yellow and curl on there tips and get crispy. As you can see in the pics all of my clones have started to root some have 1/4 inch roots some smaller some just the beginning of root buds starting (lil white bumps). When do I add nutes with aero ???

I added the prescribed dosage of HYDRO GUARD and Power Cloner solution at the start. I have not added nutes yet and am skeptical to do so. Buuuut they need something and SOON [IMG] Temp is 80 and lower. Not sure what res temp is but I can check. Its not hot I know this and its not freezing. There under T5 about foot and a half to 2 foot above the cloner them.

Please help me out I cant afford to loose these guys Im already behind on my grows.

  2. I was having cloning issues for a while that were similar to this. They ended up continuing to get worse and then die. I was also using power cloner when this was happening (not saying its a bad product.) But now all i use to clone them is RO water with aqua shield mixed in with it. They grow wonderfully and don't need nutrients until the roots are 6+ inches long.

So I would suggest to drain the water that is in there, and replace it with regular (or RO) water, mixed with your hydro guard. Im not going to guarantee that this works, but ever since I stopped using power clone, I have seen better results.

  3. the plants in the cloner cant support lots of leaves.:( cut all the large ones in half. i keep my ph at 6.0 that also helps. the pump raises the water temp, keep a watch on it. keep at 80f. those changes helped me a lot. check out wrinkled dick guys sticky--rofl. what a name!! anyways --good luck:cool:

  4. These little ones are ready to be transplanted, whatcha waiting on? Worry about feeding them in their new home, they are hungry.

  5. Im still running into big issues with my new aero cloner. The yellowing and upward curling with crusty edges is getting worse and I have lost a few. After actually seeing roots begin to form when should I add nutes ??
