Advice Please

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by J Woodi, Dec 1, 2010.

  1. I recently told my mom i smoke marijuana. I would much have her know the truth than continue lying to her when she asks. She is completely against it but i told her anyway. She is currently disappointed ect. However she completely praises my sister for how she "stays away from drugs"....however me and my sister smoke all the time. She even drinks pretty often and i do not. She does it behind my mom's back and i do not. I can't tell my mom that my sister smokes because we have a very good relationship and if i did she'd hate me.

Did i do the right thing? What should i do?

    Any advice is appreciated...

  2. Look man... I'm a little confused with what you're asking for advice on. If you should have been honest and told her you smoked? Well I think so, but it depends on your personal situation. If you're living on your own, have your own job, house, etc. Than I think you did the right thing. But if you're living under HER roof, and she's paying for most of your stuff than I don't think you should even be smoking in the first place.

And no you shouldn't rat your sister out. It's her life, let her live as she wants to.

    Good Luck man.:)

  3. i think that you did the right thing. i hated lying to my mom and came out and told her. made me feel better. eventually, hopefully, she will realize you are an adult and can make your own decisions and whats best for you. as for your sister dont rat on her.

  4. You did the right thing. Now you should go about educating your mom on the facts of cannabis and more importantly you must lead by example that it does not negatively impact your life.

Good luck man, also don't rat on your sister. Your more mature than that.

  5. about a month ago i would of told you not to tell on your sister because me and my sister were way good friends. she said she wouldnt knark on me but over time she did, so fuck your sister she is prolly just gonna fuck you over in the future. peace out ps my advice always sucks ass

  6. Yeah it does. Just because your sister ratted you out doesn't mean his will. I don't think you should rat someone out for smoking weed, ever.

    "live and let live."

  7. sounds good OP. nice display pic Jessica Alba so dam Hawt.

  8. Ratting out siblings is a no no. I was in your sisters position for a while and my brothers were getting caught and i was under the radar so to speak. Then one day my little brother was getting yelled at by my mom cause she found the weed i gave him the night before :( and i took the blame. Siblings tend to do cool stuff for each other at least that's the way it is in my house.

  9. haha fuck off blue berry,..........haha jk man i dont think anyone should be ratted on for smoking pot either

  10. hey man you said it yourself... no hard feelings.

Glad we agree. Sorry your sister ratted you out.

  11. OP, I think you maybe made your mom worry for no reason. But now she already knows so now I think you should take Canada's advice and lead by example

And don't rat your sister out please :D

  12. Speaking as a Mom, I think you're doing the right thing. I want my kids to be honest with me, that's way more important to me than anything. My oldest son smokes, and I'm not real happy about it, mostly cause he's 23 and not working or doing anything with his life, and I worry about him having legal issues. But I'm really proud that we had a good enough relationship for him to be honest with me.

And no, don't rat on your sister. She needs to be honest with your mom, but that HER issue, not yours. You've done your part, and even though it will make it harder for you, that's the right thing.

Just my opinion, and my very first post. =]
