hello GC people. it is my first grow. i dont have time now to put down a story of my plants, but i will start next grow, which is not so far from now. my prob is that i dont now how should a bud look like just befor harvest. i post some pics and let u tell me how much time they need. i also marked some yellow things on the bud, which i dont no what they are. all 3 are orange b. in the 9th week flowering thank u fooks, love ure page.
those are looking very nice...^^ i'd say another week or so... the most accurate way is examining the trichs' colouring via a macro lense, or a pocket microscope(30x-80x) clear - unfinished cloudy/milky - saturated with THC (rather "high") amber/dark - THC starting to break down (rather "stoned") dried up/shriveled - too late... most people say something along the line of 40% "amber / 60% cloudy" as the perfect harvest time, but it really comes down to the specific strain's genetics and personal preference... also the "hairs" give some indication, but their behaviour varies with strains, environment, stress, etc... but generally you go by the time when they're almost all red, but not yet drying up/shriveling... hope this helps with the decision let me also recommend drying slowly and doing a good jar-cure... it really helps the end-result... good luck kere
thanks man, i was in panic., i will surely dry and cure and also i will test some essence to see how is working. do u, or anybody, know what the yellow things, that i marked in the first photo, are? thanks green people. have a very nice day
hmmmm... now that you mention it... those do kinda look like pollen-sacks... she might be hermying on you there, but it's hard to say for sure but even if they are, she's ripe enough that you could chop her down today and have no ill effects if you're lucky, if not you have some seeds in there... some second opinion might be nice though...
damn bananas, should i cut the plant like right now? i feed her with nuts. in her morning. should i keep her 2-4 more days to wash her? she is in the middle of other 2 sisters. should i remove her? 80% imposible. merde. i dont no exactly when those bananas appeared. like 1 week ago.. so, my companions in green, what should i do???
were both in the same boat brother. i have a bagseed lady showin some of the same shit. im glad she hasnt spread to my ak48 or my other bagseed. kinda weird. i think (and hope) were in the clear. best of luck to ya bro.
i dont like my boat to be rocken more pics about ugly bananas. i declare war to all small bananas from my closet!! do someone give me some ideeas about what to do with that baby? smoke that thing or better hash or oil...? thanks fooks
well, if it was just a week ago, then you don't really have to worry... it takes at least 3 weeks for the pods to shed pollen... that late in the grow, it just diminishes the yield a bit, but with a bit of luck you won't have any seeds in there if the sacks are just a week old i'd give 'em another week and chop 'em down... edit: have you changed anything before that week? light leaks, feeding change or someting like that that might have triggered the hermying?
damn I wish I knew what post I saw that labeled EXACTLY what those were. If you look through pages 1-4 you will find it in the Harvesting and Proc.. thread. I remember the advice was you can pluck them if there are only a few but be extremely careful while doing them. Or you can leave them if you are close to harvest. Sorry I couldn't be much more help. Plant looks good and I am sure you will be fine. Syn
hey dude, got your msg.. kerenski gave you all the advice you need in here... i think your safe chopping anytime within the next week or so. You don't want pollen getting all over your room so your better off chopping before they blow their loads all over the place don't let the hermies get you down dude... Shit happens.. if it was a bagseed, then that's pretty common.. nice looking 1st grow man, it only gets easier and better from here
thanks alot i chop-it down yesterday, the other 2 i want to wash them 3 more days and than to keep them 72 hours on dark, is that good? have a nice day green companions
nice top cola there, good job putting them in the dark for 2-3 days usually decreases the chlorophyll a bit and heightens the trich production on most strains... so there isn't really a reason not to do it
