  1. Hey everyone just after a little advice,

on 28/4/12, is when it germinated, when it got a bit bigger it was put outside in a large pot. about 6 weeks ago, the leaves started to become purple, now, all the leaves are purple. I heard this was due to the cold weather or strain, is this true?

Suddenly the snow has come, so immediately it has been brought back in the house. I'm not certain if it should be harvested or left to continue growing on the windowsill. I currently cant afford any lights or setup, hence why it was outdoors, but i guess it was just too cold in the end.

Multiple fan leaves have been curling up while it was outside, some turning gray at the tips, these have been removed carefully.

if pic are required they can be uploaded easily. please ask any questions if i haven't said enough, thank you for your time.

  2. a pic would show us where your plant is in flowering and general health.

You should be in flower based on the time of year.

If it's dying, harvesting might be prudent to stop deteriorating.

Hard to say, as I don't have any experience with cold weather growing.

  4. They remind me of poinsettias which change color due to the cold.

    kind of cool looking.

A close shot of the bud would be good, but It looks like you are in flower for at least a month.

I would search the threads for effects of cold on resin production as well as dying & resin production..

If it's dying, cutting it down would be prudent.
can't imagine it's getting stronger while dying.

  5. Could someone tell me how to post my own thread....I need some advice

  6. Could someone tell me how to post my own thread....I need some advice and yes I believe it from the cold

  7. click on the "new Thread" box at the top left corner of the "absolute beginners" list of topics.

  8. I'm not sure if it is dying or not, there isnt any wilting going on..Only thing is some of the fan leaves getting crispy/greying.. I've tried a few times to take a close up bud shot but it goes blurry to hell sorry =/

I will say one thing though. I put it in my room just before this thread, and not even an hour later my room -STINKS- of beauty.

  9. it seems to be a little hungrier than it should be, but its gonna be ok. just leave it for another 2 or 3 weeks if possible. the buds are pretty much the last thing that dies, theyre gonna keep ripening even when most of the leaves fall off. just look out for mold and harvest if you see any.

  10. I'm not sure if i can keep it inside for another 2-3 days let alone weeks due to the pungent smell(which im now used to and enjoy, but the other people in the house dont like, but ill certainly try.

this is probably the best closeup i can get

  11. Why are the leaves red?

  12. oh sorry, I just read that you had to move it inside but dont have lamps... :/
I dont think it will grow noticably like that, but Im not sure about resin production. looking funky btw - leafy but frosty and with some nice colors. I like it :D

  13. How do I up load a photo....I'm kinda having the same problem

  14. click reply at the top and then click the paperclip

  15. Such a pretty girl! Good luck with her

  16. getting mucho greif for the lovely smell, so 2-3 weeks inside a minimum or what?
Not entirely sure what to look for before harvest

Id take some time now to look at the buds very closely, then wait a few days and see if theres anything changing at all. wont be much since your plant is lacking light.
youre gonna want to look at the trichomes, maybe theres new ones growing, maybe they got some time left to ripen for the effect you desire. if theyre already at a constellation of clear/cloudy/amber that you like, then harvest now instead of waiting.
personally I would wait until theres just a few amber trichomes not just on the leaves but also on the buds and then harvest. I like an up high with no couchlock, but I dont want to miss out on too much overall potency, so I wouldnt normally harvest buds with predominantly clear trichomes. at that stage there would still be new ones forming.

  18. Thanks mate, very informative!

    Thanks for your help
