advice on new purchase PLEASE!

    at the head shop close to my house, they sell metal CNC Milled grinders that have a tapered edge leading down to the screen for keifing, so none gets built up in the corner! should I buy that for $35, or purchase a scale for $40? its a digitial scale, so. I cant make up my mind, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

    well first of all i got a real nice pocket scale for only 25, i didnt even know the guy in the store or anything, it was just cheap for some reason. so if you look around or even online you could probably get cheaper for a nice scale. but that grinder sounds pretty cool.


    if i was you i would forget it and probably just buy bud

    I am buying some bud. I am getting my two week half O. so. the grinder could come in really handy!

    Get the grinder! Now normally I prefer to just break up the herb with my fingers but when you have that nifty keif catcher its a different story. I love a bowl with a bunch of keif sprinkled on it, so nice. And especially since I wouldnt pay 40 for a digi. Go on Ebay as one person linked and you can get a brand new digi for 1 cent.. plus 12-14 for shipping & handling. I got one, came with batteries brand new in the box, works perfectly and cost me 14 bucks.

    If at all you fell like your getting ripped off, go with the scale, i know you probably really want the grinder, but a scale would save money and gain knowledge in the long run. i mean you have to get the weed measured right before you can grind it up.. But whatever you decide, they both sound sweet.

    i would buy the grinder myself

    have a metal grinder with a kif screen and i love it
    especially once a bit is collected and press my own DANK hash outa it :)

    if u are just concerned abuot getting ripped off, just spend $5 ona cheap postal non digital scale

    they are actually pretty acurate as long as u remember to add the bag weight in, and will keep you from getting ripped off

    i have one myself(got it free from the store though), and it hasn't failed me yet

    just for shits and giggles, i will weigh shit out on that scale, and then use a friends digi and see if its actually acurate, and it really gets the job done

    now, they don't really work for doing .1's and shit like that, but if its even grams or half grams, it works like a charm in my opinion

    I'm going to buy both. I have used the scale on ebay before, and its actually a good scale. my friend used to have it, and it cost him $70 here in CO! so for $14, I am not going to pass on that. I will also purchase the grinder, just because I want to start making my own hash. god, this wednesday is going to be insane!

    I am buying a half o, a scale, and a grinder, so I can then make my own hash and sell it to my friends, or just keep it to myself(which I most likely will do) thanks you all!

    thank you! I knew someone would look at it sooner then later! that is a Purple haze/Silver haze #5 plant. it buds very heavily and heavily resinated. my friend and I grew it at his house, it yielded like......6 ounces a plants, the buds mainly would only form at the top of the stems, none at the bottom( really small ones). but damn, my friends dad has three o's stashed under his stairs of it, he is frantic about it! its good bud, when you hit it , it would make you hack on the way out(shit expands in your lungs!)

    its funny you should ask that hoast . there is a house for sale right down the street for sale next to my friends house( he doesnt smoke much), but you'll be 4 houses from me, and closer to my other friend who I grow that with(3 houses) come out to CO and we'll chill hoast, hookah a big bowl or something, thats our initiation session( cause if you cant handle a big bowl of kind, most likely you wont be able to hang with my friends and I), but I think you'll pass just fine!

    what i did was buy a mini coffee grinder by "Black and Decker" at walmart for 10 dollars, the kief sticks to teh sides of the grinder and it comes with a brush u can brush the kief into a little jar to save or brush it on ur weed when u smoke it, it works so good. fluffs a gram up so much for blunts..

    I bought my scale for 10 dollars and 9 dollars shipping from ebay, its a "My Weigh" 200 - Z, when i went to my local headshop they had the same scale going for 65 bucks...

    but definately go for the coffee grinder i use it every time i smoke

    I picked up a nice palm sized Mendo Mulcher for 30 so I'd say go with the grinder...

    I love this fucking thing..already did one keif vap..pure keif on a thin layer of bud...so good.

    Just remember to use some unscented candle wax on the lip an outer rim (don't worry it's away from the bud) before you go nuts else you'll have a lil wiggle after it wears down a bit.
