would it be to advantage to have one hps 70 watt light and one mh 70 watt light? grow area is about 2' by 4' i also threw a floruesent grow light in there, but i don't think it is having a noticable effect
I am not an experienced grower, but nobody has answered your Q, so I will give it a go. You could survive with one HPS light no problem. But if you want the best grow possible, you should get through your vegging stage with a MH light, then switch over to HPS for flowering. But if you are strapped for cash, I would just go with the HPS as it will take your plants through vegging stage without too much of a difference.
