Advanced Nutrients??

  1. i thinking about using them for my first grow, price isnt such a problem to me and they seem to get the best reviews.

at first glance i was gonna go with the basic 3 part nutes grow/micro/bloom snice thats the basic routine ive read up on.

although i stumbled above the sensi-A and B nutes, which is suppose to be the same as grow/micro/bloom but is a 2 part nute so is easy.

    has anyone tried the sensi-a&b?

also what other supss/nute from AN do u guys recommend?

right now i am thinking about adding Voodoo juice

any info/tips will help, trying to get this project up asap, thnx for looking

  2. I am using Sensi grow/bloom plus a bunch of their additives for my first real grow. The growth has been great on my 8 miles high and AK47's. For veg it's grow a/b plus cal/mag, voodoo juice and B52 (in coco). For flower the additives vary by week (they have an online calculator). So far I'm very pleased with the results.

  3. I am using the following in a dwc setup and have amazing results.

    Connoisseur A/B
    Big Bud
    Bud Candy
    Pirahanna
Overdrive(not used yet, will use on the last 2 weeks of flowering)

I have a Diesel Ryder that has over 13 bud sites and the plant looks as if there were 8 plants in 1.

The stem itself has an approximative diameter of 1.75"

  4. Im using Sensi Grow A&B and Bloom a&b. I have used them for 3 hydo grows so far, Just the Sensi and nothing else and my stuff came out great every time. had plants over 5 feet tall and I got over a qp dried. But it was bag seed. Now that im growing Medical strains like blue cheese and AK47 i need something else. I Have no idea what to tell you from there but am very intrested to see what ppl say to use in addition to The Sensi Brand.

  5. i've been using sensi's hobby grower package. all i can say is amazing results.i've tried all the rest, but imo nothing comes close to AN.Be carefull, your plants will be trees in 4weeks!
i should say with sensi 2 part base nutes.

  6. Hey there.

I used to use Grow-Micro-Bloom, but then I found a better lineup.

    Sensi A&B Grow
    Sensi A&B Bloom
    Big Bud
    Voodoo Juice
    B-52
    Overdrive

Sensi is far superior to Grow-Micro-Bloom, from my experience.

Good luck with whatever you end up using.

  7. For yOur first grow I'd recommend starting with the basics. Either Lucas formula or just micro/grow/bloom (and magical I'd you use RO water). Before you start adding all these extra supplements get a feel for hydro, your set up, the strains nutrient requirements, what kind of PH swings your getting etc....

Then on your second grow, not only will te experience help your planta do better, but you can see if the additives help.

I've never heard anything bad about AN except the price. It was an object for me, and Im using general hydroponics, saves a bit and the results have been amazing.

  8. thnx for all the info mates. all well taken into consideration. was really a big help. cheers :hello:

  9. OK, if you are considering using AN products, you owe it to yourself to call them (1.877.604.8637)
and request that they send you a copy of the publication called "How to Grow Bigger Buds." They sent me one for free and it explains their whole line up of nutes and supplements. It is some of the most interesting horticultural reading I've ever found. Fascinating stuff! It explains the science behind how their stuff works and how plants grow and what nutes they need at different stages of development. I've read mine four or five times and keep going back to it because it is intriguing to me.
