Advanced nutrients help

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by JoshParkinson, Apr 30, 2019.

  1. Hi all,

Has anyone used the sensi coco line before and can help me out with the feeding schedule.
Iv used thier reccomended doses of base nutes and inflow ec is still below my target even with half dose of calmag.
    What should i do?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. I've not used advanced before but I just increase my nutrients to meet my required EC.
What sort of EC numbers are you talking? Might be a good time to calibrate the meter too.

  3. At full strength base nutes and half strength calmag my ec comes to 1000 bro, iv got my target at 1350.
Should i just call it close enough?
Its a brand new meter iv been doing without and when i got it yesterday i found iv been feeding wayyy to low at 550 lol, they are going to be loving it

    Thanks for the reply!

  4. I haven’t used advanced but had same experience with two other brands. Both elite and veg bloom. Now I just expect it and adjust accordingly. With veg bloom I need to use 20% more than the label. Nbd just something to be Aware of.

  5. Thanks for the reply bro! So if i just make up the remaining ec with base nutes i should be fine? Scared of burning them lol

  6. That's what I do, increase the base nutes. I'm currently using psyco (its OK) and run it at nearly double the reccomended strength to give an EC of about 3.4. I run it really hot because I dose CO2. EC in my veg space is much lower.

A tiny bit of tip burn won't hurt them, providing you correct the problem quickly. When finding an optimal EC for my girls I'll increase nutrients untill I get a toutch of tip burn and then back off by 20%.
