What is this? Went to sleep GC app was fine, i wake up to this horror of ads embedded in the forum. If this is permanent, id like a way to get rid of them, id be willing to pay.
it's probably not permanent. ads will sneak into the site from time to time. my understanding is people without accounts are supposed to get all the ads but once you log in they are supposed to go away. though for whatever reason the system they use will slip up and sometimes put ads in for users with accounts, or at least that's kinda how it was explained to me a long time ago, and it's probably not so simple of an explanation. they seem to like to show up near the start of the month. so maybe it's like when ads get renewed or new ones come in idk.
Well, I expected tech to respond to this but since they haven't, I will. I was informed that the ads were disabled this morning.
