Hi guys im new to this forum, i have a flood table that is 2x3 and a magnum xxl 8in a/c hood the room is already wrapped in the white sheeting so now im just left with a few questions: 1. What ballast/light should buy and what wattage? 2. How many plants could i fit comfortably in that table? i can grow up to 24. 3. how tall should i let them grow until flipping the lights (I only have 36 inches to work with from the hood to the inside of the table) 4. what filler should I use to fill the table or the pots. any advice/pictures would be much appreciated. well, more watts equals more bud usually. the number of plants usually can be determined by the size of your containers. since you have limited vertical space, you may want to consider a scrog, or maybe a sog grow. filler, do you mean what medium to use? if so, maybe hydroton.
I have a 2x3 tray that I now use in my veg/mom/babe room..Used it a few times in ebb&flo sys with small ~5" square pots filled with hydroton, sog style..flipped at ~8-10" all under 600w, and it rocked for me..I think (IIRC) since it's been a while I filled the tray with 20-24 sites maybe more.
