  1. Bullshit. The new testament was used to twist the meaning of original jewish scriptures. The new testament twisted certain old testament scriptures, in order to make it look like jesus had fulfilled old jewish prophecies about their messiah. You are very misinformed.

The old testament was not changed at all, and it remains in the Christian bible.. The new testament doesn't "twist" anything it just interprets it in a different way than the Jews do. There's a difference between twisting the old testament and interpreting it differently. You are the one who's misinformed if you think Christians ever changed the old testament. It remains in Christian literature exactly as it was, Christians just added the new testament because they believe Jesus filled the role of messiah and Jews didn't, so Christianity had to become a separate religion. chill out.

Also does anybody know the "snake" had sex with eve? From that moment she knew what she had done wrong. So she tries to hide it from adam and has sex with him too. Adam follows her that was his sin they both get kicked out etc etc. the thing is eve got preggo with twins kane and able, one was ables son and the other was lucifers. Also they werent the only ppl on earth.

  4. Jews don't believe Jesus is the messiah, that's the one and only difference.

  5. Yeah, like you're not gonna get 472 different interpretations on a Christian forum....

And while I make light towards religious groups and their interpretations, don't think we're innocent here when it comes to doing the same thing. Try and find a single definition for "dub". I dare you. :D

  6. Adam and Eve were not the first people. On the first page of Genesis, the Elohim (a Hebrew plural consisting of male and female, later erroneously translated to “God”) populated the Earth with males and females. It was only in Chapter 2 that the story focused on the singular masculine YHWH (presumably one of the Elohim) who created Adam and Eve; the first Jews.

There were 2 trees in the Garden of Eden: the Tree of Knowledge, which granted divine knowledge, and the Tree of Life, which granted immortality. After Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge YHWH had this to say:

That is why Adam and Eve were kicked out of the garden; they were one step away from becoming Gods themselves.

Consider: the serpent told Eve that the Tree of Knowledge would let her “be like God, knowing good and evil”. (Genesis 3:4) However, earlier YHWH told Adam that if he ate from the Tree of Knowledge he would "surely die." (Genesis 2:16-2:17)

There are theories and legends about why the trees were there. Some theologians believe that the trees where always there, and the garden was created around them. Others believe that the entire story is simply an expression of metaphor for the hubris of man, and a cautionary tale for the ancient tribal peoples.

I lean towards the latter. There are all sorts of magic tress in various religious mythology from across the globe; from the Norse Yggdrasil to the Kabbalah's Cheit Eitz HaDa'at.

    Peace!

  7. Athiests don't believe its all factual. We just don't need fairytales and stories to teach us morals. We use common sense to figure it out.
But some people can't. So they turn to books and imaginary friends. And some people do take the bible seriously as shit.
