i built two of the home made activated carbon filters, and was wondering if it would be better to have the filters in the room and suck the air through them, then push it out of the room, or to have the filters out side the room and suck the air out of the room then push it through the filter?
from what i've read as long as the air goes straight from the room through the carbon filter it is fine. so either way should obtain the same results.

Personally I always always under the impression that you want the air to be sucked through the filter. The large scale rooms always have the air being sucked through the filter; it probably creates better suction which leads to better ventilation. I do not use a carbon scrubber myself, but if I did i would have the air being sucked thought. o yea and also leave the filter in the room so is any air escapes the filter it will be sucked back up.
