Ok...long story short...I am past the whole ebay 3 gallon chamber point...not cutting it. Im in canada. I am looking at the .9 cubic feet oven...its $1290 and can hold 4 slabs at a time. Makes sense at this point for me to buy one... I cant find a forum on them anywhere so im really hoping someone has feedback. I want to know what duty free charge would be if there are anh canadian owners... I also want to know if my pump will do the job as well as if I NEED the thing they sell with there pumps that sucks up the fumes from the pump. I currently dont have that problem. Also how much energy consumption it uses ... Im on the verge of buyinh one as everyone seems to want that glass shatter...personally I like it all but people are picky. I love the idea of the +/- .1 degree tolerance...mechanical (on point) gauge u CAN calibrate. ..and the fact u can do 4x times amount at a time. If anyone had any experience with these or know someone that does it wiuld be righteous to get some info before I give them my visa. . They arent very helpful...typical salespeople. .I want human experience input ! Please let me know !! I wanna step my game up...even with my induction I feel like the temps arents ever quite right or even .
Theres better ovens out there, AI's have fairly uneven heating. what kind of pump do you have? Really as long as it pulls at least 50micron you're fine. but a low CFM pump will take an hour or more to reach full vac. also, you should be exhausting your pump outdoors, even an oil mist filter doesnt do a whole lot, you would need a charcoal filter to really take care of the nasty shit coming off your pump.
It's a CPS 2 stage 6 cfm - rated 15 microns. Those actually are the only ovens I have found. That recognize they are used for bho and almost made "user friendly" I do use the pump out in a veranda but it really doesn't fume. I have no filter!..No biggie to buy one but it really doesn't seem to cause an fume issue at all.. About these ovens though...I just want to be sure I don't need another pump that's even more than this $250.00 pump on top of the oven cost.. What are any other brands?
your pump should be okay, it will just take a while to get to a full vac, with a .9cu.ft oven it will probably take an hour to reach full vac. pretty sure a 1.9cu.ft oven takes an hour with a 11CFM pump. and if you're running your pump outside already, no need for a mist filter or routing the exhaust, you just dont wanna be breathing that shit.

So your past the 3 gallon ebay point? I am a pro and this is funny as hell. I use a 60 dollar pressure canner and its not even 3 gallon. I am a bulk producer. Soooo........ I gave my 2000 dollar oven away as it was a pain in the ass and i can purge faster and WITH LESS MESS in the canner. The square inside of the vacuum oven was hard to line with parchment paper and as a result got covered with extract every time I vacuumed a sticky hard finish. Basically if you want to act like a pro and get all that unessessary fancy expensive crap then cool, but past that 3 gallon ebay point, hardly. Just get the basics unless you need to make more than 3 lbs a week. If i need to make more than that i use another pressure canner. The point is that it only cost 100 bucks with a presto electric gridle. Also, and this is the big one, it is hard to convince a jury its for personal use when you have lab equipment and not for comercial production. Kitchen suplies are safer.

I do need to get the basics down you're right....im having trouble with temps...and product waxing up one time and not the next. I was just asking for some feedback on them. Makes sense as in my logic was I can do 4 runs at a time...and have a temp controller thats precise. ... I wouldn't nearly need to make 3lbs a week lol... ive gone through 2 griddles and a skillet...and am now using induction... Agreed...about the discreetness of kitchen supplies. I'm just trying to justify buying another pump chamber and heat source... For some reason most of my runs take about 2 days to purge. ...if they wax up due to whatever reason...it doesnt really work out for me...frustrating. I know I need to master my skills I was just thinking why not just learn with the oven....I cant knock out many runs with this set up....was just looking for some input. ...I appreciate yours stupidstuff I will try to get the technique down better first... Just frustrating . Logic was with the oven...4 racks...4 shots at shatter...if some waxes i didnt just waste a potential week of attempts !

Sorry I was a dick, bad moment.. The temp consistancy is not as big a deal. It has more to do with the material you run. I cant even see what is going on in the chamber. But seeing it is to much input and leads to mistakes. Just start off with the basics and learn as you go. you will get it with enough runs under your belt. Just dont spend money you dont need to..
