Hey guys! This is my first time growing cannabis. I decided to go with a 3x3 plant kit from acinfinity. I have been doing hours, and i mean absolute HOURS of research on optimal setup / settings. I have had it for 2 weeks now and it was great at first but now is having some issues. Im starting to think i either set it up wrong. Or the probe is insanely off… so i have it set up to where the exhaust fan is blowing air out of the tent. I dont have any other holes in the tent or vents open. Im not sure if i need to vent it for more airflow or not. Can’t seem to find an answer for that. During the night (light off) as of recently i am seeing the humidity fluctuating all the way up to 80% and have to keep messing with the settings to lower it. During the day (light on) i cant seem to get humidity up, previously i could maintain about 60% and 78°F with a VPD around .8 - 1.1. Now it goes to 81°F and 50% humidity with a lot lower VPD in the .6 - .7 range. The settings on the phone are difficult to work, at night i have my temp set on high 78°F and humidity high at 70% i also have the temperature calibrated to -2 humidity +10 temp offset -4. during the day i have to re do the entire settings to get it back in optimal range. And it drives me insane. Theres no way it can fluctuate so much! I guess what i am asking is, does anyone have this kit? If so what settings are you running? What would you change about my setup? And how can i make it consistent throughout light on / off? sorry for such a long post. Im new to growing but really have a passion for it! And more than want this beautiful platinum kush breath to turn out well.

What is the humidity in the room outside of your tent? That will really drive environment inside the tent?
Honestly im not sure, im in Phoenix AZ and my living room is 73°F. I know AZ is a dryer climate so id assume lower than my grow tent. I have a hydrometer coming tomorrow to get more accurate readings.
While I agree with the above answer.. Quoting from your post: During the day (light on) i cant seem to get humidity up, previously i could maintain about 60% and 78°F with a VPD around .8 - 1.1. Now it goes to 81°F and 50% humidity with a lot lower VPD in the .6 - .7 range. There is nothing here to worry about. All these numbers are good for growing healthy plants. Don't over do it. What do you think is happening in the wild nature.. no such thing as VPD=) Just keep you numbers in an acceptable range, and relax a bit. Also, it is normal for air to be dryer with higher temps. So it is perfectly logic that a few degree hotter from the temperature outside the tent brings down your humidity of a few points. One more thing I can say by experience, one small plant alone in a 3x3 tent does not produce a lot of humidity. Current rH in Phoenix AZ is around 30%, just checked. Maybe asking your ACinfinity sensors to turn on ventilation to increase humidity by a lot, while also asking them to keep the temps in the same range as outside, is just impossible. I bet it would be easier with more or bigger plants, and with a humidifier.
