  1. 1 light fell and snapped 1 nice branch 3 wks into flower. It wasnt pinched so I suppose it was a snap :( still connected though, if I prop it up will it heal?

  2. IDK

Prop it up and see what happens.

    Wet

  3. thanks for the input!

  4. Not trying to be flip or anything, I've had some broken limbs flourish and some wither and die.

You'll know pretty quick if it's going to die off.

    Wet

  5. Your correct. I give it a 20% chance of living. It was a thorough snap. Im hoping for the best though.

  6. tape it with scotch tape too. not even kidding itll hold it together better than nothing

  7. I have a 2in piece of plastic straw wrapped around it, it holds it up fine but it hasnt started healing yet. :( tell me about trimming, if I cut leaves off will other parts grow better??

  8. I had a top branch break off on me about 3 weeks into flower and now it is 3 tops all bigger than the rest of the tops that I bent over. Idk but I am pretty happy about it now lol.

  9. How long did it take to heal?

  10. wait for the damage to heal before you chop more of plant off

  11. i've had plants snap around this time as well, one made it and one didnt, if its not dead within a few hours it should recover fine, since this thread is still active with updates i will assume she's fine, good luck and secure those lights!

  12. Thanks for your thoughts, it is still alive! I have a piece of plastic straw holding it up, if I take it away it will drop, the snap hasnt healed at all yet, but right above the snap where it was healthy, has gotten really fat. Theres just a few micro hairs keeping it alive, so as long as i keep the straw in place it will be fine.

  13. Like others have said, just tape it up to allow moisture to pass through the break, and 9 times out of 10 it will heal just fine... just think of it as an easy graft, being broken from the same plant, and re-attached in the same place, gives it better odds of success.

Using tape (anything from simple scotch as Nick suggested, to proper grafting tape) I've never lost a broken branch, no matter the size of the branch or the severity of the break. Getting to it before it dries out is the key.

  14. Thankyou, il put
some tape on it as well.
