Accidental Modern Renaissance/Baroque

  1. Renaissance art is marked by a gradual shift from the abstract forms of the medieval period to the

representational forms of the 15th century. Subjects grew from mostly biblical scenes to include portraits, episodes from Classical religion, and events from contemporary life.

  2. Photographs are powerful indeed. A miniscule piece of time (photos), yet so very much is happening in each one. One could stare at a photo for hours and still not comprehend the shear magnitude of everything that is going on in the picture......one fraction of a second. Makes one aware of everything that is missed in every second of every minute of every hour of every day. There is much to see, if one wants to look..
