Accidemtly left my pipe out

    I was doing some housework and left my pipe on the kitchen table because I had gone outside to Smoke beforehand. I did dishes and took the trash out then went to me and my bfs room.....I did not remember leaving the pipe until after my bfs 75 yo dad got home from work. I went to grab it but it was already gone by the time I realized. I thought he would have said something to me but he didnt.

    BF just got home from work and wants me to confront his dad and tell him I meant to throw it in the trash but I am so scared. I am 30 and smoke mostly for medical reasons and I have never been in any kind of trouble before. What should I do.

    are you living in that mans house? if so you should tell him whats up like a mature adult and sort it out. Hiding around a 75 year old man, especially at 30 doesnt seem right

    I would just say you only smoke outside but if he can kick ya out then that sucks

    I do only smoke outside always. I thought for sure he would have said something to BF since he knows his son was a heavy smoker at one point but nothing so far. If he says something Im taking full responsibility and working on a new place to stay. For what its worth I am gainfully employed and I cook clean do.laundry and that sort of thing on a regular basis.

    You are a adult and have done nothing wrong. I do not know the whole story but if you cook and clean for your BF and his 75 year old father they got nothing on you.

    They both should be thankful to have you in there home. I hope it all works out for you.:)

    Thank you for the kind words...not much of a story just left a pipe out. His dad must know by now we are both home but no words yet. His dad is not senile or anything..still goes to work everyday.

    He was probably a stoner in back then anyway and you just don't know it. Ask em if he wants a hit ;) jk

    But seriously, your an adult who can make decisions based on your life experiences and principle ideas. Hell with anyone who disagree's. (I need to take my own advice sometimes :p )

    OP is talking like she's 13 and her mom just found a tin foil joint or something haha, talk to him and figure stuff out, its not like you instantly have to move out or anything

    You are totally right..I have been smoking for fifteen years and have never had to deal with something like this.

    His house his rules. Its just like if you live with your parents you should respect them and not smoke under their roof; after all it is illegal and sentencable. (Unfortunately)

    He has never said anything about not smoking or his views on it....Once after coming back from an older hippie friends house he did ask if we had marijuana pot pie for dinner though lol.

    Still no word from dad and now BF is not talking to me either so I font know if his dad said something to him at work today.

    I totally agree with you I hate being in a situation that makes me have to sneak around because I am not ashamed of smoking...Since he just left it there I am going to assume he knows I have been smoking all this time we have been living back at home. Unfortunately this family does not talk to each other and has never been good with feelings if he really is pissed he will say something to his son at work today. Now my BF is not talking to me which blows because if anyone understands my reasoning for choosing marijuana over prescription pills it is him.

    you're one weak individual..seriously I'm not trying to be rude but this is pretty pathetic. Be an adult, confront him, or get your own place so you're not bringing illegal paraphernalia into someone else's home.

    Sorry you are going through this. I had a similar situation with my in laws finding a water bottle with some roaches in the car. They didn't say anything until I talked to them about how I was using cannabis medicinally (mmj state). I was surprised because they were actually very understanding. I guess you never know until you talk to someone. I hope you find some resolution. Good luck :)
