so recently I made some brownies. I had some budder already made but when I was mixing the ingredients I had an idea. Grinding some of my abv down to a fine powder and adding it the the flour for the brownies. So I tried it. So now I ask thy grasscitizens, is it possible to make an abv folour of sorts or am I wasting my abv?
Providing there is some life left in your abv, and it's fully decarbed, it should work great as a flour. Not everyone will enjoy the flavor but with a little time and effort that can be pretty well eliminated as well. Soaking in several clean batches of distilled water until it comes out clean will help a lot. A five minute blanch and quick cool down will help even more.
I mean I typically run the weed for about three bags in my volcano before changing it out. Would that fully decarb it?
It should. That's how I run my volcano too. I start at 7 and end at 8, 3 bags. I have a 2 quart mason jar full that I ought to do something with soon before I fill another one.
i think once decarbed you get its effect with or without fat mixed... only thing is it might not glue together like flour
Yeah I wouldn't be using it as a complete substitute for flour but just as a supplement to it. I'm just looking for a way to skip the fat binding process. Cooking is smelly and a bitch since I live in an apartment. If I can find a way to use the abv efficently without the cook process I'll be golden.
i can try a pancakes recipe with it and give you news my abv is pretty dark i dunno how itd look like
the most simple way to abv is to add to peanut butter... peanut is fatty but use as much fat as possible as a thc carrier... use lecithin too as a fat carrier
That's how I make my brownies. I figured why bother cooking it into oil? It's fully decarbed anyway. So I put it in my Magic Bullet and grind it up fine and just add it to the Brownie Mix. Works great. Had a couple this morning and haven't needed to vape at all today. Also stayed in bed till 2:00pm.
