So, are you someone who just loves cannabis and everything about it?  :smoke:

Or are you a student who dreams of doing an "epic" paper on cannabis?  :yay:

Or do you wonder if cannabis could help ease your dear "Aunt Rose's" painful fibro? :confused_2:

Perhaps you are faced with someone who believes all the old prohibitionist myths like "Pot causes lung cancer!"  , and you want to educate them with actual medical facts?

What you need for all of those situations is a free copy of "Granny Storm Crow's List"!

To get your FREE COPY, email me at stormcrow(at)greenpassion.org

You can check out the bottom of any of my posts for my email, and then send me an email!

GC members can also get a copy by PMing me their email address

So exactly what is this List? :confused_2:  Just 1,700 pages of links to medical studies on cannabis and the cannabinoids, and news articles about the studies. So let's say your ultra-conservative "Uncle Joe" is claiming pot causes lung cancer worse than tobacco!

You just open up your copy of the List, and find the "CANCER - LUNG" section and start pulling out stuff like this-

Cannabinoids Increase Lung Cancer Cell Lysis By Lymphokine-Activated  Killer Cells Via Upregulation of ICAM-1    (abst – 2014)           http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25069049

Where you can explain to "Uncle Joe" that THC, CBD  and R-Methanandamide (a synthetic very similar to your body's own Anandamide) all cause cancer cells to become “sticky”, so your Killer Cells can grab the cancer cells more easily and destroy them!  Interestingly, they “ignore” healthy lung cells, so your Killer Cells just go after the “sticky” cancer cells! Which is just one of the many ways cannabis fights cancer!

And then follow up by picking out a few more like these-

Cannabis and tobacco smoke are not equally carcinogenic.        (full - 2005) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1277837/?tool=pubmed

Large Study Finds No Link between Marijuana and Lung Cancer      (news - 2006)
    http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=large-study-finds-no-link

Marijuana Cuts Lung Cancer Tumor Growth In Half, Study Shows      (news – 2007)
    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/04/070417193338.htm

Delta9-Tetrahydrocannabinol inhibits epithelial growth factor-induced lung cancer cell migration in vitro as well as its growth and metastasis in vivo.        (abst – 2008)   http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17621270?dopt=Abstract

Decrease of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 may contribute to the anti-invasive action of cannabidiol on human lung cancer cells.         (abst - 2010)   http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20668920

Study: Smoking Marijuana Not Linked with Lung Damage             (news – 2012)
    http://healthland.time.com/2012/01/10/study-smoking-marijuana-not-linked-with-lung-damage/
\nNow imagine 1,700 pages like that on all sorts of ailments! ADHD, fibro, MS, cancers, arthritis, blood pressure, obesity, PTSD, Crohn's, ALS, and so much more!

And I give it all away to educate as many people as possible! Once the medical facts about cannabis become known, the need for full legalization becomes obvious! :smoke:

I hope to hear from you all soon! :yay:

Love the list and the best part... I don't think I will ever get to the end!  Seriously Granny you deserve a noble peace prize.  Keep doing your thing.

    One love.

  5. Where's the 2015 list?

  6. Because its been about 5 months since the 2014 list was posted?

    just a guess

  7. Almost ready! I am up to 1,862 pages, so I should end up with close to 1,875 pages. that means I will have added another 400 pages since the July 2014 version! Here's how it all plays out.

My cut-off date for adding studies is January 31, then comes a frantic a week or two to get it "whomped into shape". (Meanwhile I'm still going to PubMed and getting the new studies. I stash them in a temporary file, so I can get them into the Master List on my computer which will eventually become the July 2015 List!)

Once I am half-way satisfied with it, I change the WORD doc to a PDF (Yes, I'd love to send it out in WORD, but the List is so big it gives some computers "indigestion when it is in WORD!)

Then I get hold of a sweet lady in Maine, Deb, and one by one, we send the new list out. At the moment, the mailing list is 32 pages with about 50 names per page. I REFUSE to have one of those privacy-wrecking mailing glitches happen! I like my privacy and respect yours as I would my own! Sending it out takes us about a full week.

The List goes all over the world- my latest request came from Brazil. You can find my List in Japan, Australia, the UK. Sweden, India, Finland, Mexico, South Africa, Italy, Spain, and quite a few others I can't think of at the moment!

The gathering of the studies is fun, but a lot of the List is just plain WORK! How about showing a little appreciation? Get your copy of the List and share it with your friends!
