Absolute Beginners Guide to Smoking Cannabis

This is everything that you will need to know to begin your Cannabis smoking career. From getting familiar with your herb, picking the pipe that's right for you, and getting started on the right track towards a positive and personal experience with marijuana.

Getting Started:

There are a few things you are going to need to pick up in order to get started smoking herb.

First, you are going to need to find something to smoke! Now whether you are a veteran medicinal cannabis patient like myself, or just a college party monster looking for a good time, there are a few key things to look for when choosing your poison.

Indica:

Indica is a strain of cannabis that is very common here in north america, and is preferred by indoor growers around the world. The buds produced by these Indica dominant strains are dense, tight, and often colorful in sight, appearing in any shade of green, purple, pink, red, blue, or orange. Famous strains such as Hindu Kush are close to 100% Indica and offer unique flavors ranging from sour fruits, citrus, and bitter sweet purple!!! Get ready to feel a new and pleasant stimulation just behind your eye lids and in your forehead, you should get ready to be sitting on the couch for a while, many Indica's are well known in medical clubs for curing chronic pain and helping ease patients to sleep.

Typically these nugs are going to be medium to small in size, dense, tight, and sweet smelling. Here is an example of indica dominant hybrid strain popular throughout California and the United States , OG Kush:



Sativa:

On the other side of the herbal spectrum is Sativa, the often long and lanky buds are often twisted with orange hairs and provide an uplifting and somewhat motivating smoke. This unique high is hard to describe, it is clear and euphoric without the heavy downfall or cat nap that the strong indica strains often bring on. Sativa's can be found growing worldwide from mountain villages in the forested hills of Jamaica to the exotic and dangerous African jungles, the strong genetics behind many of these strains makes them sought after as some of the top cannabis strains in the world.

Now whether you go to your local headshop, the "weed" store...the one that sells all the glass pipes, bongs, and other fun things you will need to enjoy smoking....one word of advice NEVER MENTION THE WORD OR USE OF CANNABIS IN ANY FORM IN OR OUTSIDE OF A SMOKE SHOP!!!!

Now with that said google search a list of stores near you, check out if any of the shops have websites, make phone calls, and figure out which store(s) has the most stuff or best suits your needs.
