I'm wondering if anyone has tried absinthe before. I've been thinking about buying a bottle to try it out. I have some friends in the UK that say it's some good stuff, but the price is pretty steep. Actually the price of the actual absinthe is relatively low, it's the international shipping that's killer . Anyway, anyone like/dislike absinthe on the forums? And yes I know it's extremely bitter .
I've tried the weaker absinth. The real deal isn't sold in my country. But I'ma try it next time I go to another european country. Which is soon

I made a bottle of it, but have yet to drink it. I'm not too fond of alcohol, plus my roommates cringed at every sip. I've been trying to get rid of it off and on around here, but no one has any idea what it is.
Thujone. A chemical similiar to THC, I've read. You can extract it with some high proof alcohol. I added the traditional herbs and spices to make mine a little easier to go down. After that it's louched... cold water poured slowly over a slotted spoon with a sugar cube or two on it. On the LSA thing, you're mistaken.. LSA comes from morning glory or hawaiian baby woodrose seeds.
