About to start my first grow opinions please.

  1. First off hello and thanks in advance for any opinions and guidance provided. I am starting with 2 30 gallon containers from walmart as the starting point for my box. The total grow dimensions are 64"x40"x35". I'm planing on putting 3 plants per grow setup. I'm starting off with fox farms soil and nuts as my local hydro shop is always stocked well with these products. I am pushing out aprox 330-350w of cfl light that I will suspend from the top section of the box. I have created a 4" carbon filter and will be hooking it up to a 120mm with a high cfm rating (60-80). I will place another two 60mm fans inside the box to simulate wind. I will not set an intake but instead let the box create neg pressure and pull from the seams for new air. I will be placing weatherstripping on the edges to seal with the exception of the point where the electrical cords will enter. This will leave a half inch hole. Since I have a talk stricture I'm wondering if I should lst the plants. Also what size pots I should use. Could I get away with planting in the larger planter first or should I start in Dixie cups and transplant. Also is a question of grow time. With almost 3 feet of height I'm wondering how long I will need to veg and flower. I will be using white widow or northern lights for this grow. One I'm ready to flower I will be cloning two stalks from each and growing those along side and destroying all but three in my second box once I decide which plants are worth continuing to clone. From there I will be running a veg and flower box continuously. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated and I will be setting up pics once I finish up my boxes based on your suggestions.
